Accessibility Statement

Kói is a personal photography and design portfolio. This statement outlines the steps taken to make the site accessible to as wide an audience as possible.

Our commitment

We want Kói to be usable by everyone, regardless of how they access the web. While there is no legal obligation for a personal site of this kind, we believe accessibility is good practice and worth being transparent about.

What we've done

The site is designed with readability and clarity in mind. The colour palette uses high-contrast combinations — a warm off-white background against dark type — to aid legibility. Photography is displayed at large scale, reducing the need to strain or zoom. Text is set in clean, well-spaced typefaces at comfortable sizes.

Known limitations

All images currently include alt text, though descriptions are kept brief given the volume of work on the site. We intend to expand these over time, and will prioritise doing so if a specific request is made.

Accessibility testing

The site has been tested at PageSpeed Insights, scoring an Accessibility rating of 95/100. Constant user testing of both Desktop and Mobile sites is carried out to identify issues and bugs, and to maintain and improve overall quality and accessibility.

Compatibility

Kói is intended to work with modern browsers and standard assistive technologies, including screen readers. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of the site, please get in touch via the social links provided in the footer.
